Mrs. Andrea Fanning's Nutritional Sciences class participated in a hydroponics "Plant Tower" project this year. They used water and light (without soil or dirt) to grow plants. They grew kale, cilantro, swiss chard, cucumber, tomatoes, bell peppers, peas, and green beans. Each day, they had to check the PH balance of the plants, pollinate them with Q-tips, and water them. The end results are seen in the pictures below along with some of her students.
